Blazer to Vaper (1)

I never planned to smoke my entire life. I started, as most kids do, experimenting with cigarettes at about the age of 14. Actually, the first thing I ever set fire to and inhaled was a cigar I asked an attractive young promotional lady “for my Dad” whilst at a motor racing event at some point in the mid-nineties, back when it was acceptable to give out cigarettes or cigars to children (!) However, this experimentation was not a regular thing and it wasn’t until my late teens that I discovered the delights of the “erb” and my smoking kicked off in a big way. My Nan had smoked from the age of around 11 and had very sadly died of lung cancer so I was well aware of the risks and always planned to give up at some point. I remember thinking that 25 seemed like a good age to stop (and sounded like a lifetime away!) but of course when my 25th arrived I was more entrenched in my smoky habits than ever. Into my early 30’s and I knew it was time. My lungs were tightening up, I was noticing strange pains (faint, but detectable) when I inhaled and I would pick up chesty fluey coughs and colds with more and more regularity.  I’d been researching vaporisers for some time and had decided that if I was going to do it I was going to do it properly. So, on one sunny Saturday in January 2012 I unboxed my brand new vaporiser.
